Hello there!
I’m Rachel – you can find out more about me here – but if you’re keen to dive straight in and break away from your habitual way of thinking then here’s 5 principles which I live and work by. These principles have helped train my mind to clear and exact thinking to achieve my goals and are a guide for anything I choose to do.
If you make these principles your personal mentor on a daily basis you’ll cultivate and condition the right mindset to achieve your goals and desires too.
I have the desire
“This great dream, this surging dynamic thing invisible to all the world, except to the person who holds it, is responsible for every great advance of man.”
Earl Nightingale
Our dreams are all about consciousness, beginnings and I believe there are opportunities to work on our dreams to shape our lives and future, but it requires a real desire to achieve your dreams. A conscious desire to be and to do is the starting point to actualise our dreams.

I will take action
“Do you want to know who you are? Don’t ask. Act! Action will delineate and define you.”
Thomas Jefferson
Constant procrastination is a killer of a precious plan. Every aspiration in life is always within your grasp if you are ready to take action towards getting it done. The more you strive in the right direction, the better your chance for living a healthy and gracious life, but if you do not start, your progress will wait till another day. So, stop talking about it and take action.

“Simply giving something ‘a shot’ is not giving something our ‘best,’ for our best is made up of as many ‘shots’ as it takes in order to be our best.”
Craig D. Lounsbrough
Persistence is crucial to success in every endeavour. If you are not persistent in doing things you like, you will not succeed. It is no wonder that persistence is the fundamental difference between a successful and a failed outcome. Hardship and challenges are inevitable, but you shouldn’t be discouraged by the transient conditions that threaten the outcome of your plans. You have to be persistent in your actions and develop a never-give-up attitude so you can see the result you have been dreaming of.

I have gratitude
“The roots of all goodness lie in the soil of appreciation for goodness.”
Dalai Lama
Maybe the simplest and easiest habit for living a happier life is to take a few minutes every day to concentrate on what you already have and can be grateful for in life. Gratitude helps boost motivation and lift your mood quickly. I like to be happy all the time, and I also feel excited about seeing others happy for every little thing in life. When you are grateful for everything you have achieved, you will quiet your mind release tension, and this mindset will help you focus on the things you are currently working on. Be grateful for everything and enjoy living!

“The calm man, having learned how to govern himself, knows how to adapt himself to others.”
James Allen
Serenity is an essential state of calm which facilitates our success and shapes our mindset about every activity we set out to achieve. People with serenity are better prepared to enjoy life and acquire success in their activities. Our success or failure lies in our hand and not with others. In order to be successful and to improve our lives, we must improve our thoughts, let small issues remain small and not to be magnified into a huge concern. Hence, what we think is what we become. So we must be mindful of our thought and control them accordingly.
